Title: Effect of Music On Sports/Exercise
Problem: Can fast-paced music effect the distance a person can run?
Hypothesis: If the fast-paced music is used while running on an exercise machine, then the runner will be able to run on the machine with more distance then if the runner did not have the music.
Material:
  • Stopwatch
  • Source of music
  • Runners
  • Exercise machines (treadmills, bikes, ect.)
Procedures:
  1. Have runners change to gym clothes and warm up for 5-10 minutes.
  2. For 5 minutes have runners familiarize there selves with the exercise equipment.
  3. Runners will then exercise without music (Repeat step 3 with music the second time) for 10 minutes.
